The Cibola Cougars baseball team (Albuquerque, NM), was overwhelmed 10-3 in Tuesday's league outing with the host Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM)
The Rams now hold a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cleveland for a 5A District 1 outing on Friday, April 12. Rio Rancho will confront a Storm team coming off a 6-1 league win over Volcano Vista (Albuquerque, NM). The Storm record now stands at 15-4.
Next, the Cougars confront the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 1 outing, on Thursday, April 11. Cibola will attempt to advance on its 8-11 season record. The Jaguars go into the outing with a 8-9 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM).
