The Plainwell Trojans the host Hastings Saxons baseball team by a tally of 12-7 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now hold a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hopkins for a non-league bout on Friday, April 12. Plainwell will clash with a Vikings team coming off a 14-5 league win over Belding (Belding, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
The Saxons (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Pennfield (Battle Creek, MI). The Panthers go into the Interstate 8 game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Pennfield tipped Union City (Union City, MI), 6-1, in a non-league game.
