Virginia High School Baseball - West Point loses to Middlesex

The Middlesex Chargers crushed the visiting West Point Pointers baseball team by a count of 7-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charles City for a Tidewater bout on Wednesday, April 10. Middlesex will face a Panthers team coming off a 19-4 non-league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-6.

Next, the Pointers face the King William Cavaliers (King William, VA) in a Tidewater bout, on Thursday, April 11. West Point will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a 5-0 record after their 9-1 league win over Mathews (Mathews, VA).
