The Pendleton County Wildcat baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the host Moorefield Yellow Jackets to 3 in the Wildcat league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcat (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Tygarts Valley (Mill Creek, WV). The Bulldogs go into the Potomac Valley match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Tygarts Valley tipped Highland (Monterey, VA), 10-2, in a non-league match.
The Yellow Jackets (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Musselman (Inwood, WV). The Applemen go into the non-league match with a 7-6 record. In their last match, Musselman was overwhelmed by Washington (Charles Town, WV), 5-4, in a league match.
