North Carolina High School Baseball - Union Academy can't hold off Mount Pleasant

In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Mount Pleasant Tigers baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Union Academy Cardinals.
The Tigers (10-4) will now prepare for their game against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league game with a 3-12 record. In their last game, Central Cabarrus was edged by West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 10-6, in a league game.
The Cardinals (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Central Academy (Monroe, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 5-10 record. In their last game, Central Academy tipped Forest Hills (Marshville, NC), 12-7, in a league game.
