In Tuesday's league game, the host Wilson Memorial Green Hornets baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Waynesboro Little Giants.
The Green Hornets (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Gobblers go into the non-league game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Broadway ran past William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA), 18-10, in a league game.
The Little Giants (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians go into the Shenandoah game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Fort Defiance was overwhelmed by Riverheads (Staunton, VA), 15-4, in a league game.
