The Piedmont Panthers volleyball team (Monroe, NC), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC)

The Pirates (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC). The Warriors come into the challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Metrolina Christian Academy defeated South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) in a challenge, on Wednesday, April 10. Piedmont will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC).
