The Apex Friendship Patriots lacrosse team scored 23 points and held the visiting Middle Creek Mustangs to 15 in the Patriots league win on Tuesday.
The Patriots (9-2) will now prepare for their game against Broughton (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals go into the non-league game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Broughton prevailed over Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC), 17-12, in a league game.
The Mustangs (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC). The Golden Hawks go into the Southwest Wake game with a 11-1 record. In their last game, Holly Springs prevailed over Green Hope (Cary, NC), 12-7, in a league game.
