The Hickory Red Tornadoes lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the visiting Watauga Pioneers to 5 in the Red Tornadoes league win on Tuesday.
The Red Tornadoes (4-5) will now prepare for their game against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights go into the NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, North Lincoln was overwhelmed by Asheville (Asheville, NC), 12-5, in a league game.
The Pioneers (2-7) will now prepare for their game against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians go into the NW/The Mountain/Western Foothills/Mtn. Foothills game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, St. Stephens was overwhelmed by South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 19-5, in a non-league game.
