The Grants Pirates crushed the host Highland Hornets baseball team by a count of 16-3 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Belen for a non-league bout on Friday, April 12.
Next, the Hornets face the Bosque Bobcats (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, April 11. Highland will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Bobcats enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 23-5 non-league win over Chesterton Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
