Arizona High School Softball - Vista Grande bounces Apache Junction

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Vista Grande Spartans (Casa Grande, AZ) and the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), witnessed Vista Grande's softball squad prevail over Apache Junction by a count of 17-2.

The Spartans now sport a 11-15 record. They play next when they travel to Tempe for a 4A Black Canyon match on Friday, April 12. Vista Grande will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 18-2 league win over Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ). The Buffaloes record now stands at 12-5.

With the loss, Apache Junction moves to 7-7 on the season. The Prospectors host Cortez (Phoenix, AZ) to face the Colts in a 4A Black Canyon match on Friday, April 12. The Colts go into the match with a record of 3-13. Cortez lost 20-0 in their recent non-league match against Mohave (Bullhead City, AZ)
