In Tuesday's league contest, the Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY) softball team overwhelmed the host Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY), by a margin of 7-1.

With the triumph, Daviess County moves its record to 9-4 on the year. The Panthers travel to Jasper (Jasper, IN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 10. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 3-2.

In their next game, the Eagles play the Tecumseh Braves (Lynnville, IN) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 11. Apollo will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record.
