California High School Softball - Bellflower can't get by Paramount

In Tuesday's league contest, the Paramount Pirates (Paramount, CA) softball team held off the host Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA), by a margin of 9-8.

With the triumph, Paramount moves its record to 9-7 on the year. The Pirates host Firebaugh (Lynwood, CA) to play the Falcons in a Mid-Cities contest on Thursday, April 11. The Falcons come into the contest with a record of 0-9.

In their next game, the Buccaneers play the Dominguez Dons (Compton, CA) in a Mid-Cities contest, on Thursday, April 11. Bellflower will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Dons come into the contest with a 0-9 record after their 14-3 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, CA).
