Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bishop Badgers (Bishop, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 22-2 record. They take the field next when they host Tuloso-Midway for a 4A Region IV District 31 challenge on Friday, April 12. Calallen will face a Warriors & Cherokees squad coming off a 15-0 league win over King (Kingsville, TX). The Warriors & Cherokees record now stands at 22-5.

With the loss, Bishop falls to 16-7 on the campaign. The Badgers travel to Alice (Alice, TX) to face the Coyotes in a 4A Region IV District 31 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 14-12. Alice lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX)
