In Tuesday's league contest, the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM), by a margin of 14-4.
With the triumph, Gallup moves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Bengals host Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM) to play the Broncos in a 4A District 1 contest on Thursday, April 11. The Broncos come into the contest with a record of 6-10. Kirtland Central lost 17-3 in their recent league contest against Miyamura (Gallup, NM)
In their next game, the Bobcats play the Shiprock Chieftains (Shiprock, NM) in a 4A District 1 contest, on Thursday, April 11. Bloomfield will attempt to move on its 9-10 season record. The Chieftains come into the contest with a 5-8 record after their 16-1 league loss to Aztec (Aztec, NM).
