Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Tivy Antlers (Kerrville, TX), 18-9 in a league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 10-11 record. They take the field next when they host Pieper for a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, April 12. Boerne-Champion will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 19-0 league loss to Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 7-24.

With the loss, Tivy falls to 16-6 on the campaign. The Antlers travel to Wagner (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Thunderbirds in a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a record of 5-19. Wagner lost 10-0 in their recent league challenge against Seguin (Seguin, TX)
