LAMP Golden Tigers (Montgomery, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles (Tuskegee, AL), 18-2 in a league challenge.

The Golden Tigers now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saint James for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 11. LAMP will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Elmore County (Eclectic, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 22-1.

With the loss, Booker T. Washington falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host Percy Julian (Montgomery, AL) to battle the Phoenix in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 15. The Phoenix enter the challenge with a record of 2-3. Percy Julian lost 20-6 in their recent league challenge against Prattville (Prattville, AL)
