The Buffalo Island Central Mustangs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Marmaduke Greyhounds to 1 in the Mustangs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Buffalo Island Central moves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Rector (Rector, AR) to clash with the Cougars in a 2A Region 3 game on Thursday, April 11. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 6-4. Rector lost 11-4 in their recent league game against Riverside (Lake City, AR)

In their next game, the Greyhounds clash with the Cross County Thunderbirds (Cherry Valley, AR) in a 2A Region 3 game, on Thursday, April 11. Marmaduke will attempt to move on its 0-11 season record.
