Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA), 25-5 in a league challenge.

The Blackhawks now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gonzaga Prep for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Thursday, April 11. Cheney will face a Bullpups squad coming off a 22-4 league loss to Mead (Spokane, WA). The Bullpups record now stands at 1-9.

With the loss, Central Valley falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA) to face the Tigers in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 2-5. Lewis & Clark lost 20-3 in their recent league challenge against Ferris (Spokane, WA)
