The Chardon Hilltoppers softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Riverside Beavers to 9 in the Hilltoppers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Chardon moves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Hilltoppers travel to North (Eastlake, OH) to play the Rangers in a Western Reserve game on Wednesday, April 10. The Rangers come into the game with a record of 6-2. North won 16-5 in their recent league game against Mayfield (Mayfield, OH)

In their next game, the Beavers play the Kenston Bombers (Chagrin Falls, OH) in a Western Reserve game, on Wednesday, April 10. Riverside will attempt to move on its 6-4 season record. The Bombers come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Nordonia (Macedonia, OH).
