The Spooner Rails routed the visiting Chetek-Weyerhaeuser Bulldogs softball squad by a final score of 6-0 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Rails (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Northwestern (Maple, WI). The Tigers go into the Heart O'North contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Northwestern was routed by Duluth East (Duluth, MN), 2-1, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Cameron Comets (Cameron, WI) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 11. Chetek-Weyerhaeuser will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Comets come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Barron (Barron, WI).
