The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX) and the host Chisum Mustangs (Paris, TX), saw Grand Saline's softball squad achieve victory over Chisum by a count of 15-5.

The Indians now sport a 18-10 record. They take the field next when they host Lone Oak for a 3A Region II District 12 match on Friday, April 12. Grand Saline will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Edgewood (Edgewood, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Chisum falls to 2-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Commerce (Commerce, TX) to face the Tigers in a 3A Region II District 12 match on Friday, April 12. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 6-19. Commerce lost 4-1 in their recent league match against Prairiland (Pattonville, TX)
