Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions (Nashville, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Ensworth Tigers (Nashville, TN), 7-1 in a league challenge.
The Lions now own a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Father Ryan for a D II-AA Middle game on Friday, April 12. Christ Presbyterian Academy will clash with a Irish team coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Franklin Road Academy (Nashville, TN). The Irish record now stands at 0-5.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs (Nashville, TN) in a D II-AA Middle game, on Thursday, April 11. Ensworth will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record.
