Theodore Bobcats (Theodore, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Citronelle Wildcats (Citronelle, AL), 12-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 7-13 record. They take the field next when they travel to Murphy for a 6A Area 1 challenge on Wednesday, April 10.

With the loss, Citronelle falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Vigor (Prichard, AL) to face the Wolves in a 5A Area 2 challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 6-9. Vigor lost 26-0 in their recent league challenge against St. Paul's Episcopal (Mobile, AL)
