Willis Wildkats (Willis, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting College Park Cavaliers (The Woodlands, TX), 5-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildkats now own a 14-16 record. They take the field next when they travel to Caney Creek for a 6A Region II District 13 challenge on Friday, April 12. Willis will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 8-2 league loss to College Park (The Woodlands, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-17.

With the loss, College Park falls to 14-12 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host The Woodlands (The Woodlands, TX) to battle the Highlanders in a 6A Region II District 13 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Highlanders enter the challenge with a record of 13-16. The Woodlands won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Cleveland (Cleveland, TX)
