The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) and the host St. Margaret's Scotties (Tappahannock, VA), saw Collegiate's softball squad achieve victory over St. Margaret's by a count of 19-1.
The Cougars now sport a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Fredericksburg Christian for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 10. Collegiate will face a Eagles squad coming off a 12-8 league loss to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, St. Margaret's falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Scotties host Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA) to face the Seahorses in a match on Friday, April 12. The Seahorses enter the match with a record of 4-2. Christchurch School won 10-0 in their recent league match against Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA)
