The Copper Canyon Aztecs softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Washington Rams to 16 in the Aztecs league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Copper Canyon moves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Aztecs host Youngker (Buckeye, AZ) to play the Roughriders in a 5A Central Valley game on Thursday, April 11. The Roughriders come into the game with a record of 5-9. Youngker won 17-6 in their recent league game against Independence (Glendale, AZ)

In their next game, the Rams play the South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 11. Washington will attempt to move on its 1-15 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 7-9 record after their 12-10 league win over Metro Tech (Phoenix, AZ).
