Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Dysart Demons (El Mirage, AZ), 29-6 in a league challenge.

The Colts now own a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they host Mohave for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 11. Cortez will face a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Peoria (Peoria, AZ). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 6-14.

With the loss, Dysart falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Demons host Cactus (Glendale, AZ) to face the Cobras in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Cobras enter the challenge with a record of 3-13. Cactus lost 21-0 in their recent league challenge against Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ)
