Daphne Trojans (Daphne, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Fairhope Pirates (Fairhope, AL), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 27-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Foley for a 7A Area 2 challenge on Thursday, April 11. Daphne will face a Lions squad coming off a 7-3 non-league loss to T.R. Miller (Brewton, AL). The Lions record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Fairhope falls to 13-11 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Orange Beach (Orange Beach, AL) to face the Makos in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Makos enter the challenge with a record of 24-0. Orange Beach won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against St. Michael Catholic (Fairhope, AL)
