The Whitney Wildcats softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Del Oro Golden Eagles to 4 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Whitney improves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Pioneer (Woodland, CA) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 10. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 9-3. Pioneer won 16-0 in their recent league game against Mira Loma (Sacramento, CA)

In their next game, the Golden Eagles clash with the Oak Ridge Trojans (El Dorado Hills, CA) in a Sierra Foothill League game, on Thursday, April 11. Del Oro will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Trojans come into the game with a 10-1 record after their 7-0 league win over Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA).
