The Essex Trojans softball team (Tappahannock, VA), was tipped 6-5 in Tuesday's league test with the host Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA)
Coming up next, the Raiders clash with the Colonial Beach Drifters (Colonial Beach, VA) in a Northern Neck test, on Thursday, April 11. Rappahannock will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Drifters come into the test with a 1-6 record after their 10-0 league loss to Westmoreland (Montross, VA).
The Trojans (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Northumberland (Heathsville, VA). The Indians come into the Northern Neck test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Northumberland edged Lancaster (Lancaster, VA), 5-1, in a league test.
