West Virginia High School Softball - Fairmont Senior bounces Liberty

The Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) softball routed the host Liberty Mountaineers (Clarksburg, WV), 9-0 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Polar Bears (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Lewis County (Weston, WV). The Minutemen go into the Big Ten bout with a 7-3 record. In their last bout, Lewis County toppled East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV), 19-0, in a league bout.

The Mountaineers now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a Big Ten bout on Wednesday, April 10. Liberty will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 8-7 league win over Preston (Kingwood, WV). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.
