Field Falcons (Mogadore, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Woodridge Bulldogs (Peninsula, OH), 22-8 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Coventry for a Metro Athletic Conference challenge on Wednesday, April 10. Field will face a Comets squad coming off a 20-5 league win over Streetsboro (Streetsboro, OH). The Comets record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Woodridge falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host St. Vincent-St. Mary (Akron, OH) to face the Fighting Irish in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Fighting Irish enter the challenge with a record of 4-3. St. Vincent-St. Mary won 8-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH)
