Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts (Kaukauna, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Fond du Lac Cardinals (Fond du Lac, WI), 4-0 in a league challenge.

The Galloping Ghosts now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Appleton West for a Fox Valley Association challenge on Thursday, April 11. Kaukauna will face a Terrors squad coming off a 12-2 league loss to Kimberly (Kimberly, WI). The Terrors record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Fond du Lac falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI) to face the Wildcats in a Fox Valley Association challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 3-0. Oshkosh West won 12-1 in their recent league challenge against Appleton North (Appleton, WI)
