Gateway College Preparatory Gators (Georgetown, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Marble Falls Mustangs (Marble Falls, TX), 5-0 in a league challenge.

The Gators now own a 19-6 record. They take the field next when they host Lampasas for a 4A Region III District 24 challenge on Friday, April 12. Gateway College Preparatory will face a Badgers squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Burnet (Burnet, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 15-11.

With the loss, Marble Falls falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Lago Vista (Lago Vista, TX) to face the Vikings in a 4A Region III District 24 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 9-18. Lago Vista won 8-4 in their recent league challenge against Jarrell (Jarrell, TX)
