Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA), 8-0 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Steele Canyon for a Grossmont Hills challenge on Thursday, April 11. Granite Hills will face a Cougars squad coming off a 8-1 league win over Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-3.

With the loss, Helix falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Highlanders host El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to face the Vaqueros in a Grossmont Hills challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Vaqueros enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. El Capitan won 6-0 in their recent league challenge against Santana (Santee, CA)
