The Hawley Bearcats nipped the visiting Haskell Indians softball squad by a final score of 1-0 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Bearcats (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Stamford (Stamford, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region I District 7 battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Stamford was edged by Anson (Anson, TX), 8-6, in a league battle.
The Indians now possess a 15-2 record. They play next when they host Stamford for a 2A Region I District 7 battle on Tuesday, April 16. Haskell will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Hawley (Hawley, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-6.
