Monadnock Huskies (East Swanzey, NH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH), 12-3 in a league challenge.

The Huskies now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Prospect Mountain for a Division III challenge on Friday, April 12.

With the loss, Hopkinton falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Hillsboro-Deering (Hillsboro, NH) to battle the Hillcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 10. The Hillcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
