St. James Saints (St. James, MN) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Jackson County Central Huskies (Jackson, MN), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Saints now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairmont for a South Central challenge on Friday, April 12.

With the loss, Jackson County Central falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Huskies host Edgerton/Southwest Minnesota Christian (Edgerton, MN) to face the Flying Dutchmen in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12.
