Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Midlothian Panthers (Midlothian, TX), 7-2 in a league challenge.

The Owls now own a 23-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Burleson for a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Friday, April 12. Joshua will face a Elks squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Cleburne (Cleburne, TX). The Elks record now stands at 10-9.

With the loss, Midlothian falls to 22-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Burleson (Burleson, TX) to face the Elks in a 5A Region I District 8 challenge on Wednesday, April 17. The Elks enter the challenge with a record of 10-9.
