The Pamlico County Hurricanes softball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Lejeune Devil Pups to 0 in the Hurricanes league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Pamlico County moves its record to 10-4 on the year. The Hurricanes travel to Croatan (Newport, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Wednesday, April 10. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 7-4. Croatan lost 4-2 in their recent league game against Richlands (Richlands, NC)

In their next game, the Devil Pups clash with the Pamlico County Hurricanes (Bayboro, NC) in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A battle, on Friday, April 12. Lejeune will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Hurricanes go into the battle with a 11-4 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC).
