With the triumph, Staunton River improves its record to 8-0 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA) to clash with the Blue Demons in a non-league game on Thursday, April 11. The Blue Demons come into the game with a record of 6-0. Christiansburg won 10-0 in their recent league game against Salem (Salem, VA)

In their next game, the Cavaliers clash with the William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA) in a Blue Ridge game, on Friday, April 12. Lord Botetourt will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
