Arkansas High School Softball - Valley View holds off Nettleton

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) and the host Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR), witnessed Valley View's softball squad tip Nettleton by a count of 10-8.

The Blazers now sport a 12-4 record. They play next when they host Riverside for a non-league match on Thursday, April 11. Valley View will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 11-4 league win over Rector (Rector, AR). The Rebels record now stands at 17-0.

With the loss, Nettleton moves to 8-9 on the season. The Raiders host Gosnell (Gosnell, AR) to meet the Pirates in a non-league match on Friday, April 12. The Pirates go into the match with a record of 8-2. Gosnell won 12-0 in their recent league match against Corning (Corning, AR)
