Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL), 19-10 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-10 record. They take the field next when they host Straughn for a 3A Area 3 challenge on Thursday, April 11. Pike County will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Slocomb (Slocomb, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.

With the loss, New Brockton falls to 2-13 on the campaign. The Gamecocks host Opp (Opp, AL) to battle the Bobcats in a 3A Area 3 challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 20-4. Opp won 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Andalusia (Andalusia, AL)
