West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Orange Lions (Pepper Pike, OH), 18-2 in a league challenge.

The Wolverines now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Chagrin Falls for a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin challenge on Thursday, April 11. West Geauga will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 14-5 league win over Hawken (Gates Mills, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Orange falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Cardinal (Middlefield, OH) to battle the Huskies in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 12. The Huskies enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Cardinal won 16-3 in their recent league challenge against Grand Valley (Orwell, OH)
