Republic Tigers (Republic, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Oroville Hornets (Oroville, WA), 36-16 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Wellpinit for a 1B Northeast challenge on Saturday, April 13. Republic will face a Redskins squad coming off a 24-0 non-league loss to Rosalia (Rosalia, WA). The Redskins record now stands at 0-6.

With the loss, Oroville falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Lake Roosevelt (Coulee Dam, WA) to face the Raiders in a 2B Central Washington challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 3-1. Lake Roosevelt won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Liberty Bell (Winthrop, WA)
