The Pass Christian Pirates softball team (Pass Christian, MS), was tipped 3-2 in Tuesday's league test with the host Poplarville Hornets (Poplarville, MS)

Coming up next, the Hornets encounter the Purvis Tornadoes (Purvis, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 11. Poplarville will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Tornadoes come into the test with a 18-4 record after their 6-5 non-league win over Stringer (Stringer, MS).

The Pirates (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS). The Tigers come into the 4A Region 8 test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Bay was tipped by Greene County (Leakesville, MS), 5-2, in a league test.
