California High School Softball - Pleasant Valley bounces Shasta

April 9, 2024: Chico, CA 95926

Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA), 10-1 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Bluff for a Eastern Athletic challenge on Friday, April 12. Pleasant Valley will battle a Spartans squad coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Las Plumas (Oroville, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-4.

With the loss, Shasta falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Chico (Chico, CA) to battle the Panthers in a Eastern Athletic challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Chico won 7-0 in their recent league challenge against Enterprise (Redding, CA)
