Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Presidio Blue Devils (Presidio, TX), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Buffaloes now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alpine for a 3A Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, April 12. Stanton will battle a Bucks squad coming off a 23-1 league win over Tornillo (Tornillo, TX). The Bucks record now stands at 17-15.

With the loss, Presidio falls to 8-13 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Kermit (Kermit, TX) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a 3A Region I District 4 challenge on Friday, April 12. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a record of 4-7. Kermit won 19-3 in their recent league challenge against Crane (Crane, TX)
