The Rio Rico Hawks softball team (Rio Rico, AZ), was routed 13-3 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Walden Grove Red Wolves (Sahuarita, AZ)

Coming up next, the Red Wolves encounter the Douglas Bulldogs (Douglas, AZ) in a 4A Gila test, on Thursday, April 11. Walden Grove will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 16-7 record after their 11-1 league loss to Sahuarita (Sahuarita, AZ).

The Hawks (4-13) will now prepare for their test against Empire (Tucson, AZ). The Ravens come into the non-league test with a 18-7 record. In their last test, Empire overcame Tanque Verde (Tucson, AZ), 12-2, in a league test.
